Privacy Policy  / Your California Privacy Rights
At Gracie’s Bridal, we believe you have the right to know what type of information we may collect from you. This Privacy Policy is designed to inform you of how we will handle and protect your personal information. The term "personal information" means information that identifies you, such as your name, postal address, e-mail address, and telephone number. Personal information does not include screen names (also known as your username or other online aliases) provided by you in the course of registering with or using our web site, except in circumstances in which you may provide your e-mail address as your username. This Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected by or for Gracie’s Bridal, including web sites operated by or for Gracie’s Bridal. Web sites that are linked to or from our web sites may have different policies; please review the privacy notices on those sites for details.

Notice to California Residents – Your California Privacy Rights.  If you are a California resident, you have the right to receive (a) information identifying any third party company(ies) to whom Gracie’s Bridal may have disclosed, within the past year, personal information pertaining to you and your family for that company’s direct marketing purposes; and (b) a description of the categories of personal information that were disclosed. To obtain that information, please email us at graciesbridal@gmail.com and include “California Privacy Request” in the subject line.

Collection of Information.  We collect several types of information from our customers such as information they provide to us and information that we collect through technology.  If you purchase products from us, we’ll take, for example, credit card information, the products ordered or purchased, the shipping address and the date of the order or purchase. We may also collect personal information when you register on, log on or visit our web site. We collect information from cookies for various purposes related to our business.  Cookies are pieces of information that a web site sends to your computer while you are viewing the web site, and they provide information to the site.  For example, we use cookies to save your user ID, Account number or other information (so you do not have to re-enter it each time you visit or use our services) and to help us keep count of your return visits.  While "cookie" technology currently is among the most common, we may use a variety of technological tools (e.g., clickstream data, etc.) to help us to customize your experience to better match your interests and preferences and otherwise improve and enhance the services we provide. We will use the term "cookie" to refer generically to these tools, whether they are currently available and in use, developed or discovered in the future or otherwise. In general, browsers or separately purchased software tools may allow you to erase cookies from your hard drive. You acknowledge and understand that erasing cookies may limit or restrict your ability to use any or all the features and functions of our web sites.

Use of Information.  We may aggregate personal information so that it does not personally identify any individual so that we can analyze trends and statistics (e.g. to determine how many customers order petite sizes or those who order only at certain times of the year) to improve your online experiences, our web site, services, and customer support. We may share aggregate information with our advertisers, business partners and other third parties; for example, to inform them of the percentage of customers within a particular size or age range.

Use of Personal Information.  We may use your personal information in different ways, including sending you promotional materials to promote the use of our web site or the purchase of our products. These promotional materials may be sent to you by postal mail, e-mail or other means. As outlined below, you may "opt out" of uses of your personal information for promotional purposes. We also will use your personal information for non-promotional purposes, such as to complete your purchase or to communicate with you. For example, we will contact you by telephone to confirm your order. We may also use your personal information in customer testimonials on our web site or in our communications, but only when we have your express permission to do so. We also will use your information to send communications and to respond to any questions or requests that you may send to us.  An opt-out request will not apply to these types of communications because these uses of your personal information do not involve sending you promotional material.  In addition, please be aware that this Privacy Policy also contains certain exceptions that apply to any opt-out choices that you make.

Disclosure / Sharing of Personal Information.  We will not share your personal information with any other parties except (a) with your consent, (b) as provided in "Opt-out Exceptions" below, (c) to persons or companies that we engage with to carry out or provide support for the operations of our web site or our business, such as to complete your transaction or mail your product to you.
Opt-Out. You may elect not to receive promotional mailings and communications from us. You may exercise this choice by (a) opting out during the registration process on our web site, (b) after registration, by logging on our web site and clicking on our Privacy Policy links and following the opt-out instructions, and (c) by contacting us by email at graciesbridal@gmail.com.  If you contact us by email, please include information in the email that will help us identify your account so that we can process your request. We may also provide you an opportunity to update your contact information and/or modify your opt-out choices by sending you an email or other communication that invites your response. Finally, you may unsubscribe from certain email communications by clicking on the "unsubscribe" links in those emails.
Opt-out Exceptions.  Regardless of any opt-out choices that you make, we will disclose personal information when it believes in good faith that such disclosures (a) facilitate compliance with laws, including, for example, compliance with a court order or subpoena, or (b) will help to: enforce our Terms and Conditions; protect your safety or security, including the safety and security of property that belongs to you; and/or, protect the safety and security of our web sites and property that belongs to us or third parties.

Security. We take great care to maintain the security of your personal information and in preventing unauthorized access to it through use of appropriate technology and internal procedures. We cannot, however, guarantee that unauthorized access will never occur.

Privacy Protections to Children Under 13.  The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA") requires that we inform parents about how we collect, use, and disclose personal information from children under 13 years of age; and that we obtain the consent of parents in order for children under 13 years of age to use certain features of our web site. Below we explain how we do that. When we use the term "parent", we mean to include legal guardians.

If a child is under 13 years of age, that should not provide any of their personal information (for example, their last name, home address or e-mail address) on our web site without the knowledge and permission of their parent. If a child under 13 years of age wishes to order a product available on our web site and that requires that they provide their personal information, and if we learn that a child is under 13 years of age, then we will not maintain or use any personal information about that child without the verifiable consent of their parent, except as allowed by law.  Any information that we collect pursuant to this section of our Privacy Policy will be treated as follows:
(i) The name, address, telephone number, and email address of the operator collecting or maintaining personal information from children through this web site are as follows:
Gracie's Bridal
431 S. Jefferson Suite 116, Springfield, Missouri 65806
(ii) The personal information that we collect from children may include the name, email address, home address, telephone number and/or any other information reasonably necessary for the child to complete a desired activity. This information may be collected directly and/or passively (e.g., through a Web server that automatically recognizes and stores information such as a visitor's IP address/domain name combination).
(iii) We may use the information that we collect to complete a requested transaction and for record keeping.
(iv) Unless specific consent is obtained from the child's parent, the child's personal information will not be disclosed to third parties to fulfill internal operations of the web sites, other than as may be required or permitted by law. We have required, or will require, such contractors to agree to use personal information of site visitors only for the purposes of carrying out these operations and to keep such information confidential. A parent has the option of consenting to the collection and use of the child's personal information without consenting to the disclosure of that information to third parties.
(v) We are prohibited from conditioning a child's participation in an activity on the child's disclosing more personal information than is reasonably necessary to participate in such activity; and
(vi) A parent can review and request deletion of the child's personal information, can refuse to permit further collection or use of the child's information, and can revoke or limit consents previously given. For instructions on how to do so, please send an email to:  to graciesbridal@gmail.com or write us at: 431 S. Jefferson Suite 116, Springfield, Missouri 65806

Except as permitted by law, before we collect a child's personal information through our web site or where we knowingly collect a child's personal information, the child will be asked to provide his/her parent's e-mail address so that we can contact the child's parent. We will then send an email (the "Initial Notification") to the parent indicating, among other things, the information that the child is requested to provide, the intended use(s) of the information and information on how the parent can, at their election, delete the child's information from our database or records. Upon receiving the Initial Notification, a parent may respond back to us to give us their consent or to deny consent, in which case we will delete the parent's email address and any other personal information, if any, previously obtained for securing parental consent. Upon receiving a parent's consent, we will telephone or send a confirming email to the parent's email address or take such other action as may be required to verify the consent.

If we wish to use a child's information for purposes other than that for which the parent had previously given their consent, we will first get the parent's consent.

Consent to Processing. By providing your personal Information to us, all persons, including without limitation any persons in the member states of the European Union, fully understand and unambiguously consent to the collection and processing of their personal information in the United States of America and understand and acknowledge their consent, notwithstanding that some governmental authorities may consider the level of protection of such data in the United States to not be equivalent to that required within the European Union or any other jurisdiction.

Jefferson Suite 116, Springfield, Missouri 65806.  Please be assured that any personal information that you provide in the above email and postal address will not be used to send you promotional materials, unless you so request.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy. We may make changes to our Privacy Policy at any time. If we make material changes to our Privacy Policy that affects the way in which we collect, use and/or share your personal information, we will notify you of these changes by sending you an email at the last email address that you provided us and by prominently posting notice of the changes on our web site.  Any such changes to our Privacy Policy will become effective 30 days after we send you an email or we post the change on our web site.  Please note that you are always responsible for updating your current personal information to provide us with your current email address.  If your last email address is not valid or if we are not able to deliver notice to you for any reason, our sending of an email containing such change notice will be an effective notice of the change to our Privacy Policy. If you do not wish to all us to make material changes to how we use your personal information, you must notify us (in the manner we specify) before the effective date of the change to our Privacy Policy. If you provide us this notice, we may deactivate your account. Please note that regardless of whether you provide such notice to us, any changes to our Privacy Policy will apply to any personal information that you give us on or after the effective date of that change.
